Postnatal and Newborn Support

I offer bespoke postnatal support to ensure you and your baby get off to the best possible start. Today's society and expectations of parenthood and newborn behaviour could not be further from the reality. I value the importance of providing holistic support - that suits you and your family's needs. Ideal for those who don't have family support close by or wishing some extra support.

If birthing in hospital, I can be available to meet you at home on the day of your discharge and help you settle in at home. If booking during pregnancy, 1 antenatal session is included to make plans for your postnatal support. So stay in your pyjamas, let me make you a cuppa and tell me what your physical and emotional needs are for this time.

Although I am a midwife, please note that postnatal home support does not include clinical midwifery care or medical advice. Postnatal and Newborn support includes practical and emotional support during the postnatal period and also...

Where do I cover?

I can provide ongoing support through your postpartum journey as individual appointments or remote sessions. I'm based in Glasgow and cover most of central Scotland. However, my remote support options allow me to provide support worldwide as long as you have a phone or internet connection. I provide support from birth until 3 months postpartum.

Postnatal Home Support* can be booked below as Pay As You Go (PAYG) one-off visits or as a Package of ongoing support. Hours booked as part of a package can be taken across days, weeks or even months. Visits booked as part of a package are a minimum of 2 hours. and includes email/text support between visits. Overnight visits* would involve myself carrying out baby care. If breast/chest-feeding and you wish, I can bring baby to you for feeds and then I can wind and settle baby after. If bottle-feeding, I can bring baby to you for feeds or I can feed baby, allowing you to rest. 10% discount when booking 3 nights or more.

Remote support can be booked below as Pay As You Go (PAYG) one-off sessions or Ongoing Support sessions. Ongoing support includes a 2 hour session via your preferred choice of telephone call or video call. Email support between sessions is included.
